CAN I WORK AS A LIFEGUARD IF I HAVE TSEAS

Yes, if you have the title of Higher Technician in Teaching and Social Sports Animation (TSEAS), according to Order 1329/2021, you can work as a lifeguard without the legal need to recycle .

This is reflected in Order 1239/2021 which provides in its article 2.1.a). 4th:

The profession of aquatic lifeguard , both in swimming pools and in aquatic facilities, may be exercised by persons who prove that they have the legally required minimum academic training, as well as being in possession of any of the following official qualifications:

Title of Higher Technician in Teaching and Socio-sports Animation, established in Royal Decree 653/2017 , of June 23, which establishes the title of Higher Technician in Teaching and Socio-sports Animation and establishes the basic aspects of the curriculum.

Remember that Royal Decree 653/2017 , of June 23, which establishes the title of Higher Technician in Teaching and Socio-sports Animation, already provided in its third additional provision the possibility of working as a lifeguard course near me, which indicated:



"The training established in this royal decree, in its different professional modules, includes the contents that are part of the programs for the training of lifeguards in aquatic facilities and whose professional practice is regulated in the different Autonomous Communities"
